The crisis has intensified in recent weeks, destroying villages, farmland, and critical infrastructure. Nearly 900 people have died and millions have been displaced – making this one of the most severe floods in decades.
In response, the Trafigura Foundation has approved an emergency donation to IDEA, the local organisation that hosts the READY Pakistan hub (part of the Start Network, one of our current partners). With our support, IDEA and its partners will deliver urgent food and health assistance to approximately 4,800 people affected by the disaster.
This contribution reflects our commitment to stand with communities in times of acute crisis, addressing immediate humanitarian needs while supporting longer-term recovery alongside local and international actors.
