Trafigura Foundation Publishes its 2025 Annual Report

Amid intensifying climate pressures and constrained development financing, the Foundation accelerated its strategy, investing in community-designed resilience solutions, strengthening local organisations, and mobilising coalitions to address the adaptation finance gap.

 

Geneva, 31 March 2026 – We are pleased to announce the publication of the Trafigura Foundation’s 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of accelerated action amid rising climate pressures and tightening development resources.

In 2025, we scaled practical resilience solutions that build stronger communities, supporting long‑term economic and social stability to drive are helping drive meaningful, locally led impact.

Throughout the year, the Foundation expanded practical resilience solutions and strengthened investments in local organisations, ensuring those closest to climate challenges have the tools and leadership needed to drive lasting change. Working with partners across our global portfolio, we advanced community‑led adaptation and mobilised coalitions to help close the widening climate‑finance gap.

  • USD 21 million annual budget (40% increase from 2024)
  • 500,000 people reached
  • 25 strategic partners active in 50 countries
  • 79% of funding directed to local organisations or locally led solutions
  • 21 priority countries identified for strategic focus
  • 11 new partnerships advancing community‑led climate resilience
