New Field-based Case Studies on Climate Resilience

Today, we are pleased to publish a new series of field-based case studies exploring a simple but powerful idea: resilience is not only about what communities avoid losing, but what they are able to gain.

Resilience is often measured by what communities avoid losing. But what if we also focused on what they gain?

We have commissioned a series of field-based case studies that explore how communities are strengthening livelihoods and local economies while managing the natural resources they depend on.

Drawing on experiences from diverse geographies and partner programmes, these stories highlight how locally led solutions are helping to build more secure, productive and sustainable futures.

They also offer practical insights for funders and practitioners on how long-term, catalytic funding can unlock lasting outcomes for people and nature.
