By providing tailored, multi-year organisational strengthening and leadership development support, Maliasili enables high-potential local conservation organisations to deliver greater impact for people, nature, and the climate.
Through our partnership, Maliasili will intensify its support for 19 organisations in five countries – Botswana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe – boosting their revenue, building leadership capacity, and improving the management of 2.7 million hectares of biodiversity-rich ecosystems that support more than 676,000 people.
Together, we are helping to ensure that Africa’s most valuable natural landscapes are protected and sustainably managed by the communities who depend on them.
